What this username and password generator does
Each row combines one unique fictional username with one independently generated password. The tool is designed for interface testing, seeded development accounts, staging fixtures, classroom examples, and other workflows that need both fields together.
Choose a username style
The readable default combines a curated adjective, noun, and two random digits. The noun-and-number style is shorter. The random style creates a 12-character lowercase-and-number handle. All three avoid real names and contact information, and every username in a batch is checked for uniqueness.
Password generation
Every password contains uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and digits. Symbols are included by default, and the ambiguous-character option removes characters commonly confused when credentials must be typed. Passwords exclude colons, commas, quotation marks, and backslashes so the same generated batch remains easier to move between the available formats.
Text, CSV, and JSON Lines output
The text view places one username:password pair on each line. CSV includes a header and quotes each value. JSON Lines emits one JSON object per row, which is convenient for streaming tools and scripts. Changing formats re-renders the same batch instead of secretly generating different credentials.
Use generated accounts safely
For disposable QA fixtures, keep the environment isolated from production and remove the accounts when testing ends. For real users, a generated spreadsheet or text list is rarely the safest provisioning method. Prefer an identity system that creates invitations or temporary credentials, records assignments, forces a change at first sign-in, and supports MFA.
Do not use shared default credentials
Each account should receive a unique password. Reusing one convenient password across a batch turns one disclosure into access to every account. The generator makes each password independently and avoids duplicates at the username level.
Store and transfer with care
Anything displayed here is plaintext. Do not email a credential list, paste it into ordinary chat, commit it to source control, or leave it in an unencrypted spreadsheet. Generate only the quantity needed and move it directly into the approved destination.
