How the funny password generator works
The generator fills a family-safe phrase pattern from five independent 32-item pools, then optionally adds words from the 7,776-entry EFF long word list. Random digits and a symbol add more possibilities. The displayed entropy reflects the options you select.
Are funny passwords secure?
A joke is not automatically secure. A short phrase assembled from a small known vocabulary has a limited search space. The default adds three independently selected EFF words plus random digits and a symbol, while the warning appears if you remove too many strength words.
Why not use your own funny phrase?
Stories, memes, movie lines, pet names, and inside jokes can be connected to you or appear in password-guessing dictionaries. Random selection is less personal and less predictable.
Use every password only once
Do not reuse even a strong funny password. Save each result in a trusted password manager. If you need a formal dice-based workflow, try the Diceware passphrase generator.
